Car Show Weekend Hotel in Wildwood, NJ
Chrome on the Boardwalk deserves a retro place to stay. Pink Champagne's original building dates to 1957, the same era as many of the cars on show, and it's freshly renovated for 2026 with a kitchenette in every room, one block from the beach.
Hot Rods on the Boardwalk
Each spring, the Wildwood Kustom Hot Rod & Muscle Car Show lines the Boardwalk from 26th Street to the Wildwoods Convention Center with custom cars, hot rods and muscle cars. In 2026 it ran Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, and spectators got in free. The show returns in the fall too.
The 2027 spring show is expected around Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8. Those dates are an estimate based on past years, so confirm the schedule with the show's organizer before you book.

In 2027, the spring car show is expected on Mother's Day weekend (Mother's Day is Sunday, May 9). Turn the trip into a little shore getaway for the whole family: a walk on the beach a block away, brunch in town and a pretty pink room to come back to.
Our pool opens later in the season, from the last weekend of May through September.
