Big Weekends in September and October
These are the highlights from the Wildwoods' 2026 fall calendar. Most return every year around the same weekends, but 2027 dates aren't announced yet, so confirm with each organizer or wildwoodsnj.com before you plan.
- Wildwoods Air Show: planes over the beaches between Mariner's Landing and Adventure Pier (Sept 12–13, 2026).
- New Jersey State Firefighters' Convention, Fire Expo & Parade: at the Wildwoods Convention Center (Sept 18–19, 2026).
- Morey's Piers Oktoberfest: weekends from mid-September into October on the Boardwalk.
- Irish Fall Festival: music, dancing and food in the streets of North Wildwood (Sept 25–27, 2026).
- Wildwood Kustom Hot Rod & Muscle Car Show, fall edition: on the Boardwalk and at the Convention Center (Sept 25–27, 2026).
- The Race of Gentlemen: vintage hot rods and motorcycles racing on the beach near Morey's Piers (Oct 1–4, 2026).
- Olde Tyme Italian Festival: at Fox Park (Oct 2–3, 2026).
- Wildwoods Fall Festival: free, at Fox Park (Oct 17, 2026).
Summer Lingers Here
Our pool season runs from the last weekend of May through September, so early-fall festival weekends can still include an afternoon by the pool.
In October the pool is closed, but the beach a block away is wide, quiet and lovely for a walk.

Every room has a kitchenette, so you can make coffee before the air show, keep leftovers from the festival food stands and have cold drinks waiting at the end of the day.

When are the fall festivals in 2027?
Most return around the same weekends each year, from the air show in mid-September to the Race of Gentlemen and Italian Festival in early October. 2027 dates aren't announced yet, so check wildwoodsnj.com and each organizer before you book.
Is the pool open in the fall?
Our pool season runs from the last weekend of May through September. It's closed in October.
Are you open in October and November?
Yes. Pink Champagne is open all year.
