Eligibility & General Rules
Guests must be 25 or older to rent a room; valid government-issued ID is required at check-in. Misrepresentation of identity, age, or party size voids the reservation and forfeits the deposit. Only registered guests may stay in rooms or use motel facilities. Service animals are always welcome; pets and emotional support animals cannot be accommodated. Rates, discounts, and promotions are subject to change. For the most flexible booking options, book directly at pinkchampagnemotel.com — third-party bookings (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) may limit our ability to honor special requests.
Occupancy & Quiet Hours
Maximum occupancy is stated for each room type and strictly enforced; exceeding it is grounds for removal. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Gatherings, parties, and amplified music are not permitted in guest rooms or on balconies at any time.
Deposit, Payment & Charge Authorization
Deposit is based on rate plan; the remaining balance is due at check-in. Deposits cannot be transferred to alternate dates. No refunds are issued for early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations. A $250 hold will be placed on your card at check-in for incidentals, damages, or smoking fees. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
By signing this agreement, the guest expressly authorizes Pink Champagne Motel to charge the card on file for all room charges, fees, and damages described in these terms — including amounts exceeding the $250 hold, with an itemized statement provided. The guest agrees this signed registration constitutes valid authorization for such charges and waives any chargeback claim for charges made in accordance with these terms.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 4:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Please do not arrive early unless pre-arranged; you may call on arrival day to check availability. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and an additional fee. Rooms not vacated by check-out may be charged for an additional night.
Housekeeping & Right of Entry
All rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before arrival. Fresh towels and trash removal are available daily; full housekeeping service and additional supplies are available on request, based on availability.
Motel staff may enter guest rooms at reasonable times for housekeeping, maintenance, safety inspections, or investigation of suspected policy violations, including alerts from air-quality monitoring systems.
Room Features & Supplies
Each kitchenette is stocked for convenience:
- Appliances: Efficiencies include stove, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig brewer, and toaster
- Essentials: Cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware, kitchen linens, paper towels, and dish soap
- Coffee: Complimentary K-cups provided
- Bath: Towels, linens, soap, shampoo, and toilet tissue
- Pool towels: Available at the pool area only (not for beach use)
Prohibited Items
For fire safety, the following are prohibited in guest rooms and on balconies: personal grills, hot plates, deep fryers, candles, incense, fireworks, and the indoor charging of e-bike, e-scooter, or hoverboard batteries. Prohibited items may be confiscated and held until check-out; violations are grounds for removal.
Smoking Policy
Pink Champagne Motel is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking and vaping of any kind — including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, marijuana, and hookah — is prohibited in all guest rooms, bathrooms, interior spaces, all exterior common areas.. All rooms are equipped with smart air-quality monitoring technology that detects smoke and vape particles in real time and automatically logs the date, time, and room. Violations are assessed on this monitoring data, not guesswork. There is a designated smoking area by our neon sign guests may utilize.
A $500 remediation fee will be charged to the card on file for any detected violation, covering deep cleaning, deodorizing, and lost room availability. Damages beyond standard remediation may be billed separately. Guests are responsible for the conduct of everyone in their party. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
Pool Rules & Waiver
No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Pool hours are posted at the pool area; no glass containers, diving, or running. The guest assumes all risk of injury arising from use of the pool and pool area and releases Pink Champagne Motel from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Personal Property & Vehicles
Pink Champagne Motel is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, or for vehicles and their contents. Each room includes one designated parking spot; vehicles not registered to the motel will be towed at the owner's expense.
Items left behind after check-out will be held for 30 days and may be shipped at the guest's expense upon request; unclaimed items will be discarded or donated after 30 days.
Security Cameras
Security cameras operate in exterior and common areas of the property for the safety of guests and staff. Cameras are never located in guest rooms or bathrooms.
Guest Conduct & Right of Removal
Pink Champagne Motel is a transient lodging establishment. Registration creates an innkeeper-guest relationship — not a tenancy — and no guest acquires tenant rights under New Jersey law regardless of length of stay. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to remove any guest, without refund, for:
- Violation of the smoking policy
- Hosting unregistered visitors or exceeding room occupancy
- Illegal activity of any kind on the premises
- Disorderly conduct, or behavior that disturbs other guests, staff, or neighbors
- Possession or use of prohibited items
- Damage to motel property or refusal to comply with these terms
Removed guests forfeit all payments for the remainder of the stay and remain liable for any damages, fees, and costs of collection. Local law enforcement may be contacted to assist with removal.
Accessibility
While our property retains its classic mid-century charm, it is not fully ADA-accessible. Ramps provide access to ADA-accessible rooms; some rooms require stair access. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us in advance at 609-522-4857 or reservations@pinkchampagnemotel.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Cancellation Policy
- 15 or more days before arrival: No charge — deposit refunded
- 8–14 days before arrival: Deposit forfeited
- 7 days or less, no-shows, and early departures: Full stay charged
Force Majeure
Pink Champagne Motel is not liable for, and no refunds are issued due to, interruptions of utilities, internet, HVAC, or amenities, or for noise, weather, or other conditions beyond the motel's reasonable control. Management will make reasonable efforts to resolve any service interruption promptly.
Governing Law & Severability
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute arising from a guest's stay shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Cape May County, New Jersey. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Agreement
By booking a room at our establishment guests confirm they have read and agree to these terms on behalf of themselves and all members of their party, and authorize charges to the card on file as described above.
