Events at the Wildwoods Convention Center
The Convention Center sits right on the Boardwalk and hosts events all year. These are run by independent organizers, so confirm dates, times and tickets on their websites before you book.
- Cheer competitions. Competition weekends through the fall and winter. See our cheer page for upcoming dates.
- Youth wrestling tournaments. Tournament weekends for wrestlers, coaches and families.
- Dance competitions. National competitions usually run from late June through mid-July, when our pool is open.
- NJ State Firefighters' Convention. Expected around September 17 and 18, 2027, based on past years (estimated).
- Holiday events. The Wildwood Holiday Spectacular on December 5, 2026, and the Family Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting on December 12, 2026.
- Boardwalk Basketball Classic. A holiday tournament for high school boys' and girls' teams, held December 26 to 31 in past years; 2026 dates expected the same week (estimated). Confirm at bbclassic.com.
- Fishing and Boating Expo. Held in the Oceanfront Arena each January; 2027 dates are expected around mid-January (estimated).
- Polar Bear Plunge. Saturday, January 16, 2027, on the beach behind the Convention Center.
- Kustom Hot Rod & Muscle Car Show. Each spring along the Boardwalk, ending at the Convention Center.

Pink Champagne is a 1957 motel, recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and freshly renovated for 2026. It is never a party motel: quiet hours run from 10 PM to 8 AM, and guests must be 25 or older to rent a room.

Is the pool open?
Our big outdoor pool and sundeck are open from the last weekend of May through September, weather permitting. They are closed in fall and winter, so they're open for summer dance competitions but not for winter events.
